Something is changing in my world.  I would call it a "shit-shift."  It is hard to not lose faith in humanity while we are on the very start of what should be an "enlightened" aeon.  I'm experiencing reasons for not trusting or having faith in even individuals I considered very close to myself.  Whether or not it is due to their actions or lack there of, I feel it growing more and more.  It's been very hard lately to formulate a direction of movement when everything around me is so oppressive, cold, isolating, and apathetic.  Perhaps

I was just at work and my students were more than stoked when their assignment was to expressively paint a picture and then cut it apart and restructure it in any form they felt best.  I was shocked at some of the genius these kids produced and inspired by a lot of their work.  I loved their ability to transcend form and structure and just plop random aesthetically pleasing chaos from out of nowhere.  Tones and colors were out of this world!  I'm really happy to be working with young children and especially more so when they're letting their creative minds spiral out of control!  : )
